Microcosm: low-cost space missions since 1984
Microcosm works to give low-cost access to space and low-cost operations in space. Reducing mission cost is the main goal.
Who we are
Microcosm is a woman-owned small business founded in 1984. Our work centers on space mission engineering; guidance, navigation and control; and methods that cut the cost of space missions.
Much of our work is "reinventing space". We created and ran the Reinventing Space Conference for 10 years.
Our client experience covers commercial, military and scientific missions. The programs range from small, low-cost efforts to multi-billion dollar constellations of many satellites.
Dr. James Wertz teaches our courses and is an author of many of our papers.
